Tried this in Tokyo 2 weeks ago, fun experience although i must admit, after trying for the first time, I'm not a big fan of this type of cooking. Agree on the "one visit is enough" point.

Strawberry and pesto spaghetti doesn't sound appealing to me but I would probably try it just to say I had. Actually, I would go there just to try the miracle fruit because it sounds so intriguing.

Thanks for following me on Twitter - your site is beautiful and I look forward to poring through the Tokyo portion of your site as we are going to be in Japan in May and really want to experience the food (or as much as I can considering that I am vegetarian).

i loved this place when I went there last year. not only was the food surprizingly inventive, but it was just really amazingly good...they are working the molecular aspect in a way that enhances things & not just for entertainment purposes. i also like the fact that there are just a few people at the counter dining so you can really interact with the chef (the one on the right was our guy....can't remember his name now). I also got a total kick out of the smoke coming out of my nose. The only thing that didn't work for me was the dish where we closed our eyes and they sprayed a pine spray around us. but the juicy lamb rocked! Thanks for the great post, which makes me really hungry right now!

The quality of ingredients almost makes it hard for this to not be an enjoyable meal. I'd definitely recommend going. The originality aspect of the meal is definitely questionable; but as far as I'm concerned, the dishes were generally delicious.

some of the technique looks derivative but i am curious about how (generally better) Japanese ingredients might impact the food - maybe next time.
