We had lunch at Le Cinq this last September and it is without a doubt the best meal we have ever had. Everything was perfect!

Love your reviews and pix, they make me want to return to Le Cinq.

Lovely post Adam. I’m always a little bit emotive talking about Le Cinq as i celebrated my wedding there and have a particular feeling about this place (i’m an absolute fan of Eric Beaumard .

Hey guys, why not a “christmas lunch” – let’s say a week before Xmas – at Le Cinq ? Pithiviers is a la carte until begin of January.

Thanks, Trine. The dining room is just so beautiful … particularly the floral arrangements. I think the best time to see it is around dusk so you can see how the atmosphere changes from daylight to candle-lit dusk.

It was really great to meet you too. To be honest, after all the fun I had in Copenhagen last week, I don’t think it’s going to be too long .

Yes Adam, I think I will go. Though I’ll try one of the evening menus I guess (they had one at around 135 last time I checked). There are a few dishes UE had, which also sounded very tempting, and of course that game pithiviers Julot raves about quite a bit…

Hi Felix — You’re right that was a little vague. They lost the star first, then Legendre left, although it’s not clear who knew what at the time. I clarified it a bit. Thank you for the feedback.

You really should go … my meals there just keep getting better and better, and the dining room is just beautiful. It’s also, I believe, the best lunch for the money you can get in Paris right now.

Interesting to have one post, portraying the restaurant’s evolution over the past few years. Those mains (feuillete and pintade) look stunning.

Are you sure that Legendre left before they lost the 3rd star? If I remember it correctly, they lost that when he was still there.

After the recent reviews of this, I am tempted to give it a shot in January.
