Thank you for this post!

I'm planning 10 days in New York at the moment (a bit of a single-girl's eating tour) and found you as I searched for good coffee spots. I've seen places in Toronto do double-ristrettos but never a triple! Looks wonderful.

Any other coffee spots you'd recommend?

@S Lloyd -- Thanks! That's exactly how I felt the first time last summer I had an espresso I truly enjoyed. I now want to re-visit Italy and do a coffee tour.

@rebecca -- Thanks! Just be careful because a lot of places will actually put in (3) separate shots of espresso if you ask for a triple cappuccino ... which is pretty intense. Most of the gourmet shops actually make a triple ristretto: a single shot just with 3x the beans resulting in much less caffeine and a very rich flavor.

You remind me of those very few times I had enjoy pure deep refined coffee: both during my trip in Italy + in Greece too. This is like Sushi: you can't believe it can get any better till you get to really experience it.
