Excellent review! I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit to Urasawa (my favorite in L.A. currently). He’s truly special and it’s nice to see his menu that he served you is so different from my visit. That’s just another amazing aspect that no two meals are exactly alike.

chuck: seriously … it was just such a pleasant experience. masa has access to some really fresh fish; but i just haven’t seen the same level of creativity from masa. but i agree with you – i’ll be back to masa very shortly … if only urasawa were closer.

I’m glad you two got to try it, with Lizzie nonetheless. Masa has really blown me away the past two visits but Urasawa, without question, is the more enjoyable place to eat.
